Chapter 3 The Barbecue

The next few weeks before half term went by slowly. Or so it seemed to Alex. Bella and Barry where ok at last. Alex knew he had done the right thing, but he had missed an oppurtunity to go out with Bella. Half term approached and Bella ran up to him on the last day.
"Hey would you be able to come to mine for a barbecue, Barrys coming", she said
"Yeah great, I'll be there", he said. And Bella ran past him.

The day of the barbecue came. And on a fine sunny day he walked down Maxsof Drive to Bellas. He could smell meat being cooked a mile away and ran down the path to greet her with a hug.
"Rick couldnt come", Bella said,"Do you guys wanna see my room its been re-decorated".
"Yeah sure", Alex mumbled. Bella held Barrys hand and Alex followed behind them. They entered Bella's room which was lilac and silver. Oriental symbols with their meaning was dotted around the room in silver paint and silver photoframes with pictures of people Alex didn't know flooded the walls. Bella had a silver bed and a purple bedspread. Once Alex had looked around he turned to talk to Bella but she was snogging Barry. Her hand was on his head storking her hair and the other was rubbing effectionatly across his back. Alex could see Barrys hand was stroking Bellas hair and the other was on her ass.
"I'll just be downstairs", and Alex quietly walked downstairs to get some food. About half and hour later Bella and Barry appeaerd. The evening was finished of by them all watching "Charlies Angels". Bella and Barry snogged through most of it, and Alex was left watching the U.F.O lamp beside him changing colours. Red, blue, green....red, blue, green. Out of the corner of his eye he spotted Barry's hand down Bellas tope. Red, blue, green....when would all this torture stop. Finally after what seemed eternity the film ended. Red, blue, green...red, blue, green. Bella pulled her top up abit and stood up, Barry got up immediatyl and wrapped his arms around her. There was something in her eyes that meant something was wrong, Alex knew when she looked into his eyes. A car beeped outside and Barry kissed Bella goodbye and left.
"Whats wrong?", Alex scooted over to Bella as a tear rolled down her cheek.
"Its Barry", she mumbled her lip wobling,"he tried to have sex with me, but fingered me instead. I wasnt ready, Alex I wasnt ready". Tears flooded her face and her blusher ran along with her mascara. Alex pulled her towards him and held her close to his chest.
"Don't worry, what are you going to do about? oh its all my fault," Alex said.
"Its not, he asked if it was ok I said yeah. I just couldnt say no", she whispered,"I'm going to dump him". she shook her head so her hair flew around her, and she dried her tears wearing a smile.
