Chapter 2 Continued

Alexs day went by very slowly, bt he was glad it did. Bella was in pretty much most of his classes that day and the more he saw her, the more he liked her and by the end of the day he was in a loved up mood the bullys didnt bother him. It seemed to Alex that as long Bella exsisted so did he. As the week went by he was in most of the other classes Bella was in, he loved maths the most though. Bella sat next to him. They had become good friends.

Once the weekend had drifted by and the arguments had been hurled once more by his parents, Alex set of for school in a run, he had to find Bella, he couldnt hold his feelings back any longer. As he entered the school he imediatly saw Bella stood by her locker. Her hair was up this time in a loong enchnating pony tail. Alex was walking up to her when a boy appeared at her side. He was fairly small about the same size as Bella, he had dark red hair and choclate brown eyes. This boy wrapped his arms around Bella and kissed her cheek, she laid into him putting her books away in her locker. Alex couldnt stand it, he turned and stalked of to find Rick.
"Hey dude", Rick said and gestured Alex to sit down, he then saw a tear in Alexs eye,"whats up?".
"Bella has a boyfriend", Alex said sadly crossing his arms.
"How do you know?", Rick enquired,
"I saw them in the corridor together", he said bitterly,"They were entwined in each other". Alex wiped his eyes and put on a brave face.
"Man you like her alot dont you?", Rick asked, Alex nodded and at that moment the teacher walked in, with Bella's boyfriend at her heels.
"Now class I would like to introduce you all to the new student. His called Barry and comes from Ireland. I would all like you to be kind and helpfull please," she added with a tone of caution,"who would like to look after out new student?", Mrs.Rive asked. Rick put up his hand, "what are you doing?", Alex muttered to him, he winked and kept his hand up.
"Thank you Ricky", she smiled,"Barry, Alex and Ricky will help you", and she directed him to a spare seat next to the two boys. Barry took his seat and turned to talk to Alex and Ricky.
"Hi", he smiled,"so....what you guys into?"
"Well, I like music alot", Rick said,"Linkin Park and American Hi-Fi are the best". How typical of Rick, thought Alex hes always loved his music.
"Cool", Barry said,"What about you?" he turned to Alex.
"Well I like reading and writing stuff, my parents dont care about me much", he said.
"Dude that sucks", Barry said. The bell went for lessons.
"What lesson we got?", Barry asked grabbing his bag. Alex grabbed Barrys timetable and looked at it. Silently breathing a sigh of relief Barry was with Rick in most lessons.
"Your with Rick", he said,"Rick can I have a word first though?". Nodding rick followed him leaving Barry alone.
"His Bellas boyfriend", Alex blurted as soon as Barry was out of ear shot. Rick stared gobsmacked.
"Oh right", Rick said quickly,"listen mate just leave and let live alright?"
"Yeah ok", Alex replied bitterly and ran off to pe, wanting to talk to Bella. Once he was changed and in the hall, he ran to Bella's side.
"Can I talk to you?", he whisered in her ear.
"Yeah sure what is it?", she replied. Alex grabbed her arm and pulled her aside.
"Well its really hard for me to say, but I think I'm in love...", he took a breath.
"With who?", Bella asked quickly, before Alex could continue.
"Wi....wit....with you", he blurted,"I love you Bella, I cant hold my feelings back any longer". Bella froze with her hand on her hip her hair swaying sweet perfume, she was gobsmacked, and speechless. At that moment the teacher came in and their lesson began. Once the register was taken people began talking again, except Bella and Alex, she was still shocked and confused.
"Now boys and girls get into groupds of two we're going to be working on passing today", said Mr. Cout. Bella and Alex teamed up awaiting a ball, and began rationally passing to one another. They didn't say a word to each other and Bella was always missing the ball, she was thinking to much. Trying to keep down the feeling that deep deep down she knew she liked Alex alot to as well as she liked Barry. After the lesson Bella dissapeared off and wasnt seen for the whole of break. As Alex entered the form room Barry came over to him.
"Yo dude, can I tell you something?", he asked.
"Yeah sure, go right ahead", he sat down and Barry took a seat.
"I dont know what to do about Bella, I like her but the passions just gone I dont love her anymore but I dont want to hurt her feelings. The only ways I can get her off my case is if I cheat on her", he said quickly. Alex was shocked and stunned at this news, but something told him not to let barry dump her.
"No dont do that! You've only been with her for a week, give it time. You'd hurt her feelings. I wouldnt want to see one of my best mates upset", he said rationally.
"Yeah I guess so, I suppose I'm just confused I'll think about whether I should dump her", he said and sat in silence. The bell went for next lessons and Alex went off to his next lessons he had Rick. Barrys plan would have to wait until lunch.

"What ever, Alex you just want me to dump Barry", Bella excalimed once Alex told her.
"Its true! I dont break up couples even you know that", Alex pleaded like it was his life. Bella sat down in a bit of a huff and curled up on her seat looking into space.
"Your right, Barrys been acting odd today", she whispered,"I love him though". Silence broke through the air and Barry came in followed by Rick. Bella put on a fake smile for show.
