Chapter 1 Love At First Sight

Alex May led an ordinary life. He was an ordinary boy. Not much of good looks just boring black hair and bright blue eyes. He got good grades and was in year 9. Summer was coming and he couldnt wait. He had his SAT results back all 8's as he had been predicted. Summer was a good time for Alex he could get away from the bullys. He however had another thing to worry about. His parents, they would fight all the time. With only one friend who went on holiday Alex had no one to hang around with, no girlfriend nothing. His grades and one friend where all he had. Everyday Alex would come home with bruises burst around him, like fireworks. He did not know what was instore for him in year 10. But what did happen was about to change his life, school life at Ridgeway High, infact his whole life would spin out of control into oblivion and chaos. After a whole summer holiday had dragged by with only arguments to tell, no holidays or exciting adventures, just words his parents had exchanged. School was descending upon him fast and before he knew it, it was back to the old routine. Year 10 and GCSE's were being mentioned by all the teachers but that fateful first day back Alex had no idea he would meet the new exchange student Bella.
