Not All Angels Fall From The Sky

Chapter 3:Lady Of the Sky

Magda and Marcus walked along for a while and in the corner of her mind. Magda coudln't help but think of Dimdolion. Eventually she sat among some grass by the river and waded her feet amonst its sparkles and ripples.
"We need you here", Marcus said sitting next to her watching the fish play about her feet.
"Oh really?", Marcus nodded positively "Why am I so important to you and your group?".
"Well We have a plan but we need you to carry it out", Marcus said simply, looking at Magda in a mishcevious way.
"Why do you look at me like that?!", she exclaimed laughing. Marcus smiled but soon had his serious face back on.

"Anyway...The plan is that a child will be born, its a threat to the world, and it must be killed. However according to our prophet the child must be slain by an innocent red rose, who is but a lady of the sky. And by legend that is you.", Marcus said.
"No no you must be wrong. I'm the Staggering Ghost. You must have the wrong person", she started stuttering a bit and fumbled back up the bank trying to clear her head.
'This is wrong' she thought.

She began to walk away nothing made sence, footstpes emerged thundering behind her.
"WAIT!!!", a voice yelled from behind her, she halted and turned. It was Dimdolion.
"What?", Magda asked,"I am not an innocent red rose I am not a lady of the sky, I'm just me, Magda". She turned and stalked off.
"But you are the red rose Magda", Marcus said emerging from the bank,"Remember when you was a girl your father died when you was young"
She stopped immediatly,'Daddy?', she thought 'How could they know.....'
"How did you know about my father", she said grimly.
"That does not matter. What did he call you before he died Magda?", Marcus continued probbing her. She could feel the restraint of tears in her eyes.
"He called me his.....Lady of the sky", she gasped and burst into tears, sinking to the floor, her wings forming an embering protection about her.

Dimdolion rushed to her side, his feelings got the better of his mind. He sat down next to her and held her in his strong muscular arms hushing her not to cry. Marcus just stood there in silence, turned and walked away. He knew what would happen, he could see it.

The prophecy would come true, two romances that werent allowed to be.

Marcus shook his head spread his wings and flew into the distance.
